I wonder why minoxidil, which you apply topically on the head, would cause growth elsewhere on the body, such as the arms, chest, underarms, etc. It sounds like something Propecia would do.
This applies to both almostbald and Gunner: your major problem is not your baldness but your insecurity. Hiding from your female friend or moving to "America" will do nothing about your baldness, but doing something about your self-confidence will.

How do you keep minoxidil from dripping down your forehead when applying it to the hairline? I estimate I lose about 250 ul per ml from this so I use a total of 2 ml to the hairline and crown.
I agree with bombscience; however, you could still apply the conditioner to the ends of the hair provided you're careful not to let it touch the scalp. Rinse immediately after applying and your hair won't feel stripped.
These shampoos do not sit on your head long enough to cause such effects. If you were to apply Nizoral to your scalp and do not rinse off daily and you do this over a long enough period of time (e.g. 3 months), then you might see some effects.

Does minoxidil shed the same subset of hairs as finasteride? If so, suppose a person has just gone through a finasteride-induced shed and he starts to take minoxidil, any resulting min-induced shedding would not be as large an effect since the follicles are already synchronized? Am I missing...
