finasteride-induced shed vs. min-induced shed

Does minoxidil shed the same subset of hairs as finasteride? If so, suppose a person has just gone through a finasteride-induced shed and he starts to take minoxidil, any resulting min-induced shedding would not be as large an effect since the follicles are already synchronized? Am I missing something here?

did the same thing

I started mix after 3 months on Propecia. My shedding from the Propecia seemed to halt after 3 months but 2 weeks into the mix 5% i started shedding again. But i dont thing i shed as much as i did on the Propecia.
Because i shed a lot from the Propecia and more hairs are now in the
growing phase.

Shedding from Mix after 2 weeks on a healthy scalp is a good thing.
Started shedding from Propecia after 1 to 1.5 months on the stuff.

Is this a wrong observation ? Anybody...

someone explain why propecia would cause a "shed"? inhibiting an enzyme that converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone does not add up to "shed"

you arent losing hair from propecia, you're losing hair because you have male pattern baldness

Copy and paste from Propecia product review on Men's Proven Treatments on this site:

"When Propecia enters the system, the sudden removal of DHT from the follicles can sometimes shock a large number of follicles to enter into the resting phase at the same time. Its known as a synchronization of the hair cycle. To the layman, it's frequently known as the "shedding sh*ts"."
