Hi I'm planning to see a dermotologist to get concise advise but would a dermotologist realistically be biased in suggesting a hair transplant or some other surgery as opposed to rogaine/finasterid? Also are dermotologists cover by regular insurance (I have insurrance through my college)...
Do I need a prescription for finasteride?
and also any "shedding" that happens will regrow right aka any hairloss I experience from the treatment will grow back right?
I've been reading posts on these forums and in the research section there's mention of stress leading to hairloss and ejeculation (intercourse and masturbastion) also leading to hairloss. But I also read (repeatedly) not to take everything I read here to heart. So I want to get a consensus on...
does it really matter??? I mean I would definately go for it. Obviously stem cells research is in its infantcy...like the pc in the 80s.
I didn't fully read the article but if they have this breakthrough we'll have hairloss beat with in a few years. We really need to get fed funding for...
keeping in mind my age of 22, is it necessary to start immediately with both or can I start in the next few months with rogaine first and then in the fall throw in finasterid? The reasoning here is that I've noticed the price tags on finasterid and it is pretty big (considering my college status...

I'm going to try to post a pic of my hair line soon, hopefully you guys can...

I've also heard that when you begin using it some extra hairloss may result...but what exactly is "some extra"...how much? Thanks all.
