Can't pull the trigger on finasteride - please help

I had all of finasteride sides you can think of at the beginning... One year and a half in, and I have zero sides (not even libido issues), and my hair has maintained pretty well. Just stay consistent, don't overthink stuff and just stay positive. The great thing about starting treatment is that you are...

Do you guys ever expose your temples (NW2-NW3)???

That guy is almost pushing NW3, imo, but then again I'm not the best judging norwoods, anyways. Case in point, slight hairline recession doesn't bother women, but I think women would notice on that guy, or say NW3 upwards.

Scalp exercises + massage for 3 months. Is this progress or am I being delusional?

Sorry to say, but these scalp massages won't save your hair for too long. If you don't start actual treatment soon, you may regret looking back at this point (NW3?), and realize you could've done something about it and save your hair for much longer. Good luck!

Do you guys ever expose your temples (NW2-NW3)???

I mean, if it was by me I'd still be a NW1, but I would have been very happy staying at NW2. Not saying I'm the most good lookig guy out there, but if you're attractive you can definitely pull off a NW2 with no problem, and the ladies will still find you attractive. Look at Chris Evans, for...

When will there be a cure for male pattern baldness?

"We don't know what kind of lifestyle these people were living". I've been using finasteride for 1 year and a half now, and all I can say is I have never felt any better. Then again, I'm a very active person. I don't take benzos, or do recreational drugs in general, rarely drink alcohol and I work out...

I'm beginning to think that hair is the #1 physical attribute that women care about

You have a point, though you don't really need to have an attractive face to do well. I mean, many girls think Adrien Brody is attractive, have you seen that guy? Of course, he has great hair though! An attractive face is more than welcomed if you have hair. if not, you're doomed anyways.

I'm beginning to think that hair is the #1 physical attribute that women care about

I agree with you OP. The most important attribute for women is somewhere around hair or height. And then stop counting. A pretty face does nothing for a woman is there isn't any hair. And a good body won't matter to a woman if the guy isn't tall or at least of average height (tall guys still...

Grease 2 cast balding guy—as a high school student

lol this was a handful of years ago. They wouldn't even dare to cast a balding guy in for a high school part in modern times. People are way, waaay more superficial now. It seems some recession on the hairline it's still acceptable, but everyone and their grandma easily spot a horsehoe and deem...

    Stopping Nizoral

I don't know but nizoral worked wonders for me. Then again I had serious excess sebum, I had rashes on my scalp and it itched and hurt like hell. Nizoral took care of it. I wouldn't hesitate in using it again if I ever go back to that state.

How the studios are going to handle a bald Superman...

You are the second or third person to mention that. I had to look up his most recent pics and yes, his hairline is definitely receding! Just a couple of years ago he had basically the perfect hairline. I wonder if it's the intense workouts and all the stuff they take that make them go bald that...

    A few questions on Nizoral

I used Nizoral 2% for about 6 months. I had excessive scalp sebum (it got worse when I started finasteride) so I applied nizoral every two days, instead of the every 3 or 4 days indicated on the box. About two weeks later I realized my sebum reduced drastically so I lowered the dose to two times a week...

How the studios are going to handle a bald Superman...

I agree. As much as I loved Christopher Reeve this guy is actually a very believable Superman. And yes, Man From Uncle was a great film! This guy's career keeps going up, yet his hairline keeps going backwards. Terrible news for him, and I also wonder if he's even doing something about it at...

How the studios are going to handle a bald Superman...

You be the judge then, I'm pretty sure I'm slightly over a NW2, specially since I'm thinning all over. But you're right, I'm just taking a guess. (Still blurry I know, but you can clearly see where my hairline was. finasteride has slowed down my thinning, not so much my recession.) Good point. I...

How the studios are going to handle a bald Superman...

I agree, maybe more people are oblivious to NW2 than we would have thought. No clue. And now that I compared my pictures to Henry Cavill I seem to be on the same boat too...
