    Girls don't want me anymore

Not true. And I can tell you that from personal experience and from knowing many young people with extremely aggressive male pattern baldness... if you have a drastically receded hairline, as in, bald on top, and you grow out the horseshoe, it's likely to put young women off. But if you shave your head, 99%...

    Girls don't want me anymore

If you buzz it down with no guard or shave it, 90% of chicks won't care unless you have a deformed skull or something.

    Why hair is like clothes.

Not quite getting the point of your message...

    Why hair is like clothes.

I'm white and a Norwood 3 at 17. Started losing it when I was 14. Guess I'd better kill myself now then. Alot of chicks (my age included) dig bald guys nowadays, trust me.

    Other guys hair..

Haven't you heard? Having a thick NW1 qualifies you as male model material.

This sucks... I think I'm just going to shave it.

Yeah, guys like Freddie Ljunberg, Kelly Slater and Callum Best really look like sh*t. Women would definitely prefer a dogfaced NW1.

    Crazy hair

Freddie Ljunberg has better genes. A high NW2-3 hairline looks way better than the Chimpanzee look. I don't understand the fascination with low hairlines here. He does have great hair but he'd look better with a more masculine NW2.

Can't we all look good bald?

Note that that picture was taken several days of not buzzing my hair down with no guard. I generally have it much shorter than that. I posted it to show the receding hairline (or should I say receded, because it's always had a NW2 shape, albeit abnormally high for a NW2.) A tiny bit of stubble...

    Should I Shave Instead?

Thanks for the input. The reason I was thinking of shaving is because my hairline just looks abnormally high to me. Maybe I'm imagining things.

    Should I Shave Instead?

17 years old, NW2.5 - 3. Right now I'm buzzing my hair to stubble but I'm seriously considering shaving it. What do you think? Should I leave the stubble or just shave it?

Can't we all look good bald?

I don't think that's a fair comparison. 300lbs of weight is going to completely alter the appearance of your facial features. Losing your hair won't. Furthermore, being bald does not give the impression of poor health. Weighing 300lbs does. What are the right "features to carry off the bald...

Can't we all look good bald?

Yes, and Agassi's experience was in regards to comments made in the British press. Why is this relevant? I used the example of David Beckham to illustrate how what the press says does not neccesarily equate with the opinion of the average person. First of all, "friend", I never stated that...

Can't we all look good bald?

Alot is a world away from most, which was your original statement. Most guys are concerned with it but not enough to seriously consider the treatments used by people here. Finasteride is one thing but there are people here popping spironolactone for god sakes. Andre Agassi looks good with or without...

Can't we all look good bald?

No, this forum exists because some people are so uncomfortable with losing their hair that they seriously consider medications and hair transplants. Most guys don't. It may not be a preferable situation to be balding but it's not world-ending either and most guys realise this. That's why most...

Can't we all look good bald?

An average Joe will be an average Joe regardless of hair. People look at your facial features, not what is sitting on top of your head. The whole "framing the face" argument is silly - you could go the other way and argue that baldness makes you more attractive because it brings out your facial...
