Would you make a clone of yourself and kill it for your hair

Well it's not that simple, cloning an entire human is actually easier than cloning specific body parts, since a zygote, after being created, just goes off and develops into a full person on it's own when implanted into the naturally suportive habitat of a mother's womb. With specific cells...

What GOP candidate do YOU support?

I thought this would make for a great poll on this forum, I would imagine 99% of the people on here would be of voting age. Also because the main reason everyone is on these forums isn't for politics, so it would be interesting to hear the opinion of the everyman. So, Herman Cain, Michelle...

Would you make a clone of yourself and kill it for your hair

Well, I'm not really sure on this but doesn't a baby have to develop to the point of being a fetus to develop hair follicles? I think there is a pretty big difference between embryo and fetus. I was kinda talking about harvesting the hair follicles themselves, like a regular hair transplant process, off...

Would you make a clone of yourself and kill it for your hair

Are you kidding me? Human cloning is totally possible. You ever heard of Dolly the sheep that made headlines back in 1996? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolly_(sheep) They just haven't done it with humans because of the laws and ethical reasons and whatnot, some say it has already been done in...

Would you make a clone of yourself and kill it for your hair

Theoretically, the science is already there to create a cloned human, and if the clone possesses all the same genes as you, then it shouldn't be hard to transplant all the follicles using current techniques, and there would pretty much be more than enough follicles to go around for a full head...

Any realistic hopes of a cure in next few years?

Much pessimism on this forum, and after being on these forums for a couple years now, I can't really blame anyone for having that attitude. BUT However long it might take there is some progress being made, and money being invested, so to straight out say it's hopeless is a straight out lie...

    Replicel

I definitely have high hopes for replicel and think that if anyone is going to cure this its going to be them. However Aderans is further along in their trials and I think that they are going to come out with something sooner, the thing is though that one of their trials is actually assessing...

Does Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy really work?

I remember there being something about prp+ which is supposed to be regular prp with more stuff in it, gimmicky perhaps. But what I'm curious about is has anyone had the prp + acell treatment where they combine prp and acell and inject it back. I think I've read of a few places that say they...

    Aderans... Possibly some promising news?

I think I may have read somewhere that a product can come to market after Phase2, but I think only in other countries and not the US. I can definitely imagine this stuff being available in other countries first due to lower level of regulation, which is fine by me to be honest as I think a...

    Aderans... Possibly some promising news?

When you lose hair because you're afflicted with male pattern baldness, I don't think DHT ever completely kills the hair follicles, they just atrophy to the point of not being able to produce follicles anymore. If you look really closely, you can see that a follicle in the process of atrophy may have a tiny...

A cure within the next 10 years, according to scientists

Baldness is actually supposed to be a recessive gene, so instead of killing people off or whatever, it might not be such a bad idea to make sure the woman you have kids with has a dad with a full head of hair, and as long as further generations of your male offspring stick to this routine the...

A cure within the next 10 years, according to scientists

I disagree, there's been some pretty great bald men in history, like scientists and statesmen and athletes as well. That would be a pretty shitty thing to deny potential great people a chance at life.

    Trichoscience: new name, new website

Someone should call up investor relations and ask them a few questions :) I might do it myself.

    Trichoscience: new name, new website

If you go on the website at http://www.trichoscience.com/, you will be redirected to the new website, the company is now called Replicel. The website is still under construction and will be launched Q2 2011. I'm cautiously hopeful that they will have some pictures of trials, hopefully we will...

    Aderans... Possibly some promising news?

Even if it's only able to maintain what hair you have would be a huge plus in my opinion, at least then I wouldnt have to worry about progressively looking worse throughout the years. I guess the results are kinda promising in that regard.
