From what know there is no real evidence that azelaic acid does anything for hair loss. There is already a solution out there called lipogaine that has azealic acid in it. It's like $24 per bottle which is what it cost me to get a 6 month supply of kirkland.

It takes several months to really see results from finasteride so the shedding couldnt be much worse than before. If you are experiencing nasty side effects then yes of course stop taking it! I have never used finasteride before so I cant tell if you should slowly come off, or quit right away.

It always seems like we end up back at square one :hmmm:.

I live in Iowa. When I got my last order of 2% it came from th UK for $8 each. They said it would take 3 weeks to get to my house, but it only took 1 week. The best part was I paid no shipping on it. I got it off of amazon. I can see if I can find the seller for you.

It doesnt look too bad yet. I would just keep a eye on it in the upcomming months. If it gets any worse, then its time for minoxidil or finasteride.

I'm sure a lot of us have seen the steroid guy on youtube hairlossfromsteroids. He has spent countless hours and many years in controlling male pattern baldness from steroid use. If you watch any of the videos, he can give a good input on how steroids effects the hair.

The shedding will likely last a few months if not several months. There have been people who didnt see any results until over a year later. This all takes time and patience. People get too impatient and quit too early.
