3 months later... minoxidil 5%, Finasteride, and Various Shampoo

The bit of fill-in that has occurred has pretty much made my temples no-so-bare looking. I'm certainly pleased with that. I can scrub my scalp with my nails and literally not pull out more than one or two hairs. I then condition and again, I need none or at worst, 1 or 2 hairs. This is well...

3 months later... minoxidil 5%, Finasteride, and Various Shampoo

No sides from finasteride that I can tell. I'd still hit anything that moves, lol. No issue there. When I do, it's still as good as ever. Now with the minoxidil, I have itchy scalp, mild headaches, and sometimes feel my heart elevate... I will say that for the first 2 months I was absolutely religious...

Other options to folligen shampoo? (bad cust. service)

Are there any other options in the shampoo/condition world that are copper peptide shampoos other than Folligen? The reason I ask is that I had a rather distasteful customer service experience and I'd like to get something like it but not support them in particular. For those asking WHY, this...

    Oh the ITCH!

I've tried a number of different shampoos and none really seem any better than the others. Head and Shoulders perhaps helps a little more but I still get occasional itches that are so intense it is almost like a pin prick and I HAVE to scratch. I did try Folligen shampoo briefly and it may...

3 months later... minoxidil 5%, Finasteride, and Various Shampoo

I started on Jun 26 but took my first pix on Jun 29. My picture-taking regimen has been right after a haircut -- 1 1/2 "finger length" cut. Apply 1.5ML minoxidil to temple areas (it's quite wet!) and then brush my hair to spread the minoxidil a bit. I am taking 1/4 of a 5mg finasteride pill each day...

    Oh the ITCH!

Thanks, guys. I just got a 2oz set of folligen shampoo/conditioner and will try T-gel also as I haven't tried a coal-tar shampoo. It is quite possible that glycol is causing the itch as my skin is very sensitive to all sorts of stuff. Hopefully it is not the minoxidil that is causing the itch...

    Oh the ITCH!

I'm using Kirklands 5% minoxidil 2x/day on temples, top, and crown. Taking propecia, and using Nizoral every other day or so. I've been on these now for 1 month. The itch is unbearable! I've tried using Head and Shoulders and a couple of similar dandruff-based shampoos. I've also tried...
