My wife had it done 6 yrs ago, no problems. I watched the procedure on a monitor so I got skeered afterwards. I will do it eventually.

Sup guys, have not been on for a while. I haven't been taking finasteride for a while, and I think the top thinned out. I'm going to go back on it, 3x a week. I'll post updates if I have any. I also miss MSM, will get some more. My hair grows much more slowly without it.

I can tell when I'm getting brain fog from finasteride, it's palpable. All the power to you if it does not bother you, I think it was getting rough for me, but I also have little kids so I bet my 'tolerance' for the fog is lower, I need all the energy I can get right now. :D

Looks like you are regrowing your hair. I have done the big3 for a year, was on finasteride for five years before that, and all my regrowth has been in the last 12 months for the most part. Absolutely. Remember I took finasteride for over five years prior to last year's start of the big 3. During the 5 years of finasteride I saw a little regrowth at my hairline but really nothing else. I am not really familiar with the Norwood scale, so I can't answer that. I will say that after a year, the big3 is a no brainer. I have been tapering off of my vitamins as well, so at this point I am just taking a multi-vitamin or a Maxi-Hair vitamin.

Don't do the full beard, that's not going to help with the ladies.

I think spironolactone might be helping, but it's early for me to really tell. I've been on finasteride since 2002, and big3 since 12.06. My hairline is looking the best it's been for six or seven years. But I'll take pics and add them to the gallery in my sig. I'm going to take pics probably tomorrow.

I just added topical 5% spironolactone a few weeks ago, so I will be able to tell. I was on the big3 before, but saw most of my big gains from the '3 already.
