Do you have male pattern baldness? Why did you stop? The shedding phase while using Rogaine is normal and usually lasts a few weeks, just stick with it. If you quit cold turkey expect a shed.

Keep us posted man. A lot of guys say they'll post updates but end up disappearing. Don't worry too much about the shed, keep at it. I myself started Rogaine Foam 5% a few days ago and will also post progress.

It suits me and I've gotten good responses over it. I don't want to look pre-pubescent. To each their own I guess. And I wouldn't want to use minoxidil on my beard and become dependent on it for facial hair, my beard is thick as it is, that wasn't my question.

Thanks guys So you think it would make a difference if I use liquid or foam minoxidil? My hair is sparse and thinned all on top I don't think I'd have a problem applying the foam. What DHT blockers would you recommend other than finasteride? (I am considering finasteride but I'll ask the derm)

Yeah man, it's pretty shitty. I turn 19 in May. And I tend to be prone to anxiety so I'm hoping if I do get finasteride I don't react bad to it which I'll consult with the dermatologist. Hopefully nizoral/minoxidil and dermarolling will help

Shouldn't I first use minoxidil/keto and see how that goes instead? Maybe it'll help and buy me time then I could possibly get on finasteride once I'm a bit older. Have you had sides with it? But I'll go ahead and ask the derm

I'll ask and see what they say about it. It just worries me seeing as how I'm so young I don't want to risk messing up my body or anything.
