Regain + Nizoral = extremely dry hair. any conditioners?

Aussie 3 min miracle is good for very dry hair. Also once a week consider a hot oil treatment for your scalp. VO5 hot oil is good but you can also use Jojoba (best) or olive oil (that's in your kitchen right now) You might also want to try a daily leave in treatment like Infusium 23 or even the...

    I'm 15.

To answer your question- is there anything you can do to prevent your hair loss? I would say that while there is no "product" proven to prevent hair loss before it happens, eating a well balanced diet and taking a mens multi-vit should not hurt and will insure your body has what it needs to...

Why Most Shampoos are a Waste of Money

I agree that most shampoos are a waste of money and you really don't need them. I only use simple Suave coconut conditioner on the days I don't use Nizoral. You heard right, I wash my hair with conditioner only 2 days(on days I don't use Nizoral) then Nizoral followed by conditioner on each...

    Adistem -- Anyone Seen This?

I think the real benefit comes from the injection of the stem cells into the scalp. Without the stem cell injection I doubt the cream alone would do much. I could not find any reference to cost for this procedure either. Bet it is very $$$$$$$.

Do i stand a chance to prevent more loss?

I have been on finasteride for about 2 months. I did have minor sides at first couple of weeks (testicle ache once or twice and watery semen) libido still good. I no longer have any sides. I would encourage you to try this med if your Doctor approves and see for yourself. What if you had a great response...

    Morgan Baker's Story - (28)

Do the BIG 3 faithfully for best results: 1. finasteride to stop the progression of male pattern baldness and may restore some follicles. 2. minoxidil to help keep what you have and may grow you some more hair. 3. Nizoral 1% or 2% to reduce inflamation and give your scalp the best environment to regrow and maintain your...

is lasercomb better than finasteride for scalp irritation/itch?

Kaze your question is kinda confusing. I may be wrong but I don't think finasteride is used to reduce scalp irritation(finasteride blocks effects of DHT). I have an aculas 850a which is a 100mw 650nm laser and use it 3 times a week. I can tell you what the laser can do. It reduces inflamation and redness this I...

    My Nizoral experiment

Once I decided to get on finasteride, I understood this would be a medication for life. I would not discontinue your finasteride as you might experience "catch up" hair loss. All your progress could be lost. If finasteride and nizoral have been working why in the world would you quit a program that was working. Good...

    ACTISTEM ??

Never heard of this stuff and I have no idea why your post ended up in the dealing with side effects thread. Are you going to try Actistem?

    Results with Big 3

Nice results. I know what a pain the application of the minoxidil can be and twice a day can be tough, but keep it up. I use the foam in the morning (it dries pretty quick) and the liquid minoxidil (cheaper) at night. Good luck, I bet in another year you won't be able to notice you ever had hairloss...
