I've had this happen to me. There's this guy I work with and he has long, thick Jesus-like hair. When we have a conversation, he often pulls back his hair, exposing his perfect Jason Biggs-like hairline and gives a little smirk as if to say "You'd love to have this hair, wouldn't you?"...

I'm doing the same thing. I'm on day 3 as we speak. It's quite hard to tell you the truth (ha). I'm not a big believer of this theory, but there's no harm in seeing what will/will not happen to my hair when I only let Wee Willy Winkie get sick once every two weeks.

Yep. Going to see a derm is your best bet. And, by the sounds of things (e.g- "I've been going into my bathroom and looking into the mirror every 5 minutes for the last three weeks"), you need to do it NOW to set your mind straight.
