I would try a totally different surgery, I think it's pretty irresponsible of your doctor to shaft you like this. Just be sure to mention that you are willing to get 5mg tablets from an online pharmacy if they cannot give you a prescription for it. Of course you could just go down that route...

Did you ask her to make you a specialist appointment? Maybe if you said that you're looking into getting finasteride from an online pharmarcy it might help move things along a little too. If all else fails, I would recommend that you go to another doctor.

What I did was to just go to my doctor and talk about hairloss; maybe I was lucky but my doctor was happy to put me on a private prescription for finasteride. zix, tried it, dint like it. There are a few people its worked for, but i'm not one of them. Contrary to hair-tomorrows opinion, i'd say try the proven stuff first (finasteride/min) and if that deosn't work out then look into alternatives like zix. i didn't get on with it because it was bright...

i reckon 2 months is too early to tell, as many times i've seen little hairs and thought a treatment is working, but they were just ex-bigger hairs. take some photos of your melon every couple of months and see how it goes.

No. I expected more no votes for this..hairloss is one thing, but as part of a problem with self-image or whatever it can become a monster so i can understand why some people percieve it as the worst when it's only a component of the whole issue.. The worst thing that ever happened to me...
