I was wondering why Merck's list of possible side effects from propecia doesn't include testicular pain/discomfort as being common. Just reading posts on this website and others, it is clear testicular pain is one of the more common sides. How did they miss this?

Thanks for the replies. My physician is not an expert on finasteride and he let me know that when I met him to get a prescription. He simply stated I should be knowledgeable of the sides and the risk I'm taking. If I go see him he will simply tell me to stop the medication. That is not worth a doctors...

I have been taking finasteride at a dose of 1mg/day since September 7 2011 and two days ago I noticed a little bit of blood/red color in my semen. I saw the same today.
