after i had surgery, i noticed an increase in hair loss approx 2 weeks after the operation. the hair grew back though, after time. i think it has something to do with the anasthesia.

joshua your experience sounds like mine, i ahd exactly the same effects as you, except i did not shed on the sides and back of my ehad, just my temples and frontal area became diffuse. i should say i was on saw palmetto and beta sis not finasteride. did you recover the lost hairs after stopping finasteride...

yep, starting a treatment like finasteride will almost definitely cause shedding! i was on sp and bs and i had bad bad shedding, for 3/4 months casuing me to become diffused on the left side of my scalp visible along my parting, i stopped and shedding dramtalically reduced over a 1 month period.

if you are going to start on propecia be prepared for sheds and more recession of your temples further back. my advice to you, dont get on it.
