Hi Rawtashk, I read some where that zinc is effective in reducing the sides from finasteride...is it true? Do you take any other medicines to counter the sides?

well atleast we can estimate a rough figure.... 750 000 000 / 750 = 1 000 000 ~1 000 000 propecia users (give or take 50000)

well....let us know the cost of propecia at some local pharmacy, then we can calculate how many persons are using Propecia.

It seems your temples have started to recede and crown seems to be fine....I think you should consider starting Finasteride, along with rogaine. If you worry about sides from finasteride, start with 0.5mg. btw congrats on starting fight against hairloss.

Welcome to the forum...and congrats for starting the fight against hairloss. It takes time to see the results from finasteride and you will experience an initial shed from finasteride, may be thats why your hair thin than you started. As you have no sides from finasteride, Just give some time...it will surely help. I...

My hair also looks oily the next day I washed with shampoo. Im using keto 2% every other day now and its quite good...it keeps my hair dry for complete 2 days now. Im also afraid of minoxidil because of its shedding....I dont lose much while hair wash (10 to 15 strands) or combing (3 to 6) strands...

well its hard to say how long it lasts....some ride it out very quickly and for others it lasts long...just dont count hairs...take pictures instead and wait atleast 6 months tee see the results. Add Finasteride to your regimen it should halt your hairloss while minoxidil adds some regrowth. You...

Did you noticed major difference current shedding from pre-minoxidil shed? Don't worry, most of it comes back.
