DHT reducing foods diet - any more? - add

As has been mentioned by Tynan, broccoli. This contains indole-3-carbinol which is good for moderating the influence of "bad" hormones. Not sure if it will reduce DHT. Other vegetables like brussel sprouts and cauli have it, but broccoli has the most. I eat lots of it. Nice steamed with fresh...

short M.D article on insulin caused hairloss

You need to look up some food lists with GI (glycaemic index), GI is a measure of how quickly the carbohydrate is absorbed, producing appropriate insulin response to make use of it. But note that although some foods have high GI, they might only contain a bit of that carb in them. Rice and...

Women may hold the key to cure hair loss

I have been looking at women's hair at work since mine started to fall out, I've noticed that they often have unusual hairlines. They often have low foreheads with their hairline quite close to their faces. Also, their hair isn't often all that dense, and then they tend to wear it long. Often...

http://www.hairlosstalk.com/productrevi ... /index.htm Crinagen includes ionic zinc, vitamin b6 and azelaic acid. The first two are definitive ingredients of zix. http://www.hairlosstalk.com/productrevi ... /index.htm Revivogen includes these three ingredients as well. Anyway, if it...

    I'm off Saw Palmetto

Nah, not on minoxidil, making some Zix which is zinc and co-enzyme vitamin b6. Got both ingredients and am making it tonight! You can find these two in some of the more popular "blends" commercially available. Some have had success with it, fingers crossed 'cos if this doesn't work it's all...

    I'm off Saw Palmetto

I had high hopes for this stuff. I used it as the cornerstone of my regime, and have been on it for 4 months. I even added nettle extract a few weeks ago. Anyway the last few weeks have seen an increased shed, I'm losing over 100 hairs a day now, from all over my head, not just male pattern baldness areas. If...

Who digs the emu's oil ??

I have thought about using emu oil but currently I am rubbing in at night Evening Primrose Oil. I am hoping the fatty acids, which are known to be DHT inhibitors, will have some positive effect. Quite cheap too. Still early days but will keep you posted.

    that funny thread

Can anyone point me to that funny thread of some weeks ago where someone pretended to be like some naive guy from eastern europe and kept on asking questions to some hair loss formula merchant, but still wouldn't buy their stuff. Thought it was a crack up and wanted to revisit it.

    Saw Palmetto, and other vitamins

I have been on SP for nearly three months, so if I am going to see some improvement it should happen soon (minimum 3 months for any treatment due to hair cycling). I am going to wait until the end of 4 months. However I am a bit spooked by the studies showing that it doesn't seem to reduce...
