re: Have you just tried all the prescription topicals like Differin and Azelex. I would recommend Azelex(also called Skinoren). It was pretty much a miracle cure for me. Everybody is different, but its worth a try for a couple of months.

re: Yep, always taking the proscar this same way. My results have been great. My hair is the same as it was 7 years ago. I also use extra strength minoxidil and Nizoral shampoo. I started using Minoxidil 9 years ago, 2 years before starting proscar.

re: I cut the proscar into 4 pieces, taking it 4 days and then skipping the 5th day. So I'm getting 5mg over a 5 day period, same as propecia. When I started 7 years ago, some doctor in the newsgroups said that was the best way to take it. He said skipping every 5th day might help...
