I've been on finasteride for about 2 1/2 months now and my experience has been very similar to avinash.crayappa.. (minimal shed for the first 2-3 weeks and it has picked up again like crazy since the last 3 weeks)

finasteride Just thought of sharing my experience so far with finasteride.. I've been on finasteride 1 mg/day for about 75 days along with minoxidil for almost an yr now..Initial 2-3 weeks,my hair shed completely stopped but recently picked up again.. I've also been suffering from itchy scalp even before starting finasteride...

I've been on minoxidil since Jan 2015 and in the past 12 months, my hair has gotten much worse.(I've been thinning diffusely much more aggressively until I got on finasteride in Nov '15..Its been 75 days now and I feel like my hair shed is slowly getting under the control ) with 0 sides.
