Hi guys, just wanted to share some progress pics. I think i maintained or got worse.
I first started noticing loss around October 18 and i think i always had thin hair but i noticed it got worse + receding hairline. So, i started keeping track and decided to get on finasteride around January 2019 after...
So just do 1/4 instead of 1/5, got it
How are your results/how long have you been on it? According to the post above yours, 1/5 should be ok too since .5 kills 70% of dht anyways
I started finasteride about a week ago and the doctor prescribed me finasteride 5 mg tabs, they are the ones that are tiny and say E and 61 on both sides.
How do you guys cut these tabs evenly? Or does it even matter as long as you take 5mg over 5 days? I try to get them as close to equal as possible but...
Posted here what it looks like when combed + long hair btw in most recent post https://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/threads/need-help-deciding-next-steps-post-derm-visit.119718/
All pics are right out of shower + wet. When it’s dry, you don’t see the thinnes at all, even in most pictures
Nothing as of now, heres my situation https://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/threads/need-help-deciding-next-steps-post-derm-visit.119718/
Have a second appointment with a different dermatologist thursday. Contemplating getting on finasteride or min as of now. I think i am also a diffuse thinner.
Do you think i should go with Min first like Doctor suggested then?
I ask because i think i am also diffuse thinning and finasteride users usually have a ton of shedding when they are also diffuse thinners based on what i have read around here.
Will post pics when i get home.
When you say shed @aggresivebalder , you are also saying finasteride is helping you maintain. So are you just shedding a lot but also growing the same hair again? Since its not getting worse?

'Very early signs of androgenetic alopecia. Diagnosis and treatment options reviewed including Finasteride, Minoxidil and PRP. Given the mild...
