Hey!
I think your hair is fine! So what if it's a little bit imperfect? There is a HUGE difference between being a NW3.5 like you and a NW7-8 and totally balding. Your medication WILL stabilize your hair and finasteride is effective 90%+ of the time. The most likely scenario is that your hair will...
Hey man.
First, I think even though everyone here laments the fact that we must deal with hair loss, yours isn't so bad! At 32 years old, you have a great head of hair on you. With medication, you'll be 42 years old with your original hairs intact and by then who knows where you'll be in life...
Hey!
I found your thread since it seems we have similar stories. I for one think your hair looks great; you're maintaining, and there is a HUGE difference between being an imperfect NW3 and being NW6-7 and totally bald. I don't think you should be depressed; your hair looks great to me so...

Hey man,
I think I can understand where you're coming from. Even though these guys are right, and your hair loss is MINOR at best, you are obviously in freak-out mode because you are unused to the idea of having even less-than-perfect...
When you shed, does the lost hair eventually grow back or is it lost permanently?
If I begin finasteride treatment today, will the hair I have now be the one I keep, or the one that I get after the shed?
Thank you.
Hey Teddy,
You've been on Propecia for around ten years now? Do you think the efficacy has remained the same, or gone down? Do you see propecia losing effectiveness for prolonged use?
Thanks.
Does anyone else have a comment about my pictures? Does this look like the first sign of male pattern baldness? Does it look 'normal' for a hair? My hair loss isn't diffused; it's just a straight line of miniaturization.
Thanks in advance.
From the research I've seen:
1. finasteride is great for maintaining what you already have.
2. minoxidil can potentially regrow your hair.
For you, I would just get on finasteride and stay there. Obviously, you've been messing around with dosages to see what's best for you. Since you are experiencing sides...
Re: Boxing's Thread(2+ month on finasteride with pics)
At inhouse pharmacy, do you order the generic finasteride or the brand name Propecia?
Also, did you consult a pharmacist before you got on medication?

You look MUCH better with a buzzed cut. You can actually the look off; and it does not seem as if you are losing that much hair with a buzzed cut.
If I were you, I would just take .5 mg of finasteride ED or EOD and just maintain what you have...
Re: Mike_b's Story - (25 / finasteride/nizoral / Update on finasteride Sides. PICS)
Aside from your widow's peak, I did not notice any hair loss at all on you, especially on the crown.
Can you show us a few pictures of your crown and temple areas now that you're on finasteride?
I have my own pictures of my hair loss at...
I am a short distance away from a major city, and would like to consult a dermatologist there. Any advice on finding a dermatologist? I have come up with a few known dermatologists from the local hospitals' directory, but I really do not know how to select a good dermatologist for myself. Any...
