i know exactly where your coming from. it would be nice to think that this increased lose i have is due to a major 4-6 month shed.but as each month slips by i lose faith!!

i`ve lost sh*t loads from the temple areas.(4-5 times more than the previous 6 years!) i noticed the rapid rate it was disapearing about 6 months ago.but i expected at least some of it to grow back,thinking it was shedding. can a shed take longer than 6 months to recover?

After 12 months+ on min/finasteride with no noticble results,should i hang on for a bit(6-12 months) or stop treatment? im not sure at all.some times i think that maybe results are round the corner,but then think that i should of seen something good by now. Any of you guys been in this situation before?

sounds exactly the stage im at.i`ve see the same results(rapid loss,no regrowth)and all hope evaporate as each month ticks by.

how do you know people exagerate? all you can do is take the stuff,give it a year,then see for yourself.

I tried nizoral,all it did was make the itching worse. I`ve thought about adding something else to the mix,but if the main 2 dont work,whats the chance of anything else working. Anyone had success with other treatments after none with finasteride/min alone? i`ve heard about 15% minoxidil,xandrox etc...

I`ve used both the 1% and 2%.Both seem harsh.At the minute im using the 1%,I mix it with i little t-sal.I used t-gel for a while but that made me itch like mad.I tend to use nizoral once or twice a week a week. Im also use an intensive dry scalp lotion from boots,I use that after shampooing...

I`d second that! I can never understand how people find the time and effort to write hundreds of posts in a matter of weeks. It gets to a stage where people chirp out advice without having any prior experience on fighting hairloss.Yet newbies take this advice without researching the products...

Does anybody use Dr Lee`s salicylic acid/2% nizoral shampoo? Are there any benefits in mixing salicylic acid/2% nizoral into one shampoo? t-sal is meant to be used regularly and nizoral every 3-4 days. So why bother using at the same time?
