Giles, It is difficult to ascertain the precise extent of your hairloss with such zoom shots. A few revealing the remaining forehead should suffice. Others here gave sound advice, as side effects (rarity) are transcient and will subside if discontinued.

These specific photos are similar in every web image I could find. (google images/yahoo etc etc) If they were doctored, there should be original, UN-doctored photos in cyberspace. None exist to my knowledge or research.

That is basically what it is. A form of cosmetic paint. Vin deisel supposedly does this as well for the appearance of a 3 day shadow of hair on his scalp.

Good catch Aplunk. The tattooed photo you posted is "coincidentally" in the exact occipital location as the other scar photo. What are the odds? :scratch:

Mel Gibson had great hair until approx. forty years of age yet experienced great hairloss within the following ten years. Therefore the safe zone may not necessarily be 40.....45+ should be fairly indicative of the subsequent lifetime situation..
