yes - stress. lots of it. I thought that may possibly be a reason...diet change also as a result of about 2 weeks of stress.

Ok... a curious thing has been happening: I am 11 months out from my hair transplant and my hair has started thinning over the past 3 weeks (in the transplanted area). It seems as though my head wants to go back to its original self or something. Any ideas on why this is happening?? Has this happened to...

UPDATE sorry for the delay in reposting. Ive been having ups and downs about my surgery. the reason? well, I forgot what i USED to look like! these pics helped ease my mind-- here is a photo gallery with pics before my surgery, the day after my surgery (May 12th, 2005) - 9 1/2 months...

the proscar Ive been on for 7 months has also been doing the charm... I dont think I'll want another procedure (at this point)

update ok... so I'm coming up on 6 months and - BAM! New Hairs sprouting up EVERYWHERE! I'll post pics very soon. Ahhh...loving it. :)

Not much to show yet... I'm pretty much back to normal. 5 Weeks out and the pain is all gone and the scar is almost impossible to find. Cant wait for regrowth! Will post more pics once it gets more exciting up there.

I had my frontal (and front-side) hairline redone & top given more density (~1100 grafts)... will not advertise until I have a final product! ;) All in all...glad I did it. Its been 2 weeks and I'm almost fully recovered. Sleeping normally again. Would def. do it again.

I think the hardest part now is: 1) Finding a comfortable sleeping position and 2) Washing my hair

well, its done! I slept through all of the grafts... all in all it was a VERY easy and practically painless procedure. Thanks for the support guys

hello all! Well, I just had my hair transplant surgery yesterday and it was wayyy easier than I had hoped. I have a little swelling and some dull pain in the donor area (but mostly it itches!) altogether I had 1067 grafts. Now for the countdown to hair!! Thanks for all the support........ ED

is it pretty common for the patients to have thier heads shaved for surgery? I sure hope not...as I'm having mine peerformed in 4 days and am not ready for a head shaving! :)

Damien... your results are great! Well, surgery is in 4 days. Still nervous about having a chunk of my head removed. Sigh. Wish me luck!

Oh... haha the guy in that picture (to the left) isnt me. I have MUCH less than any of them! :) Thankfully I wont be able to see what they are doing, otherwise I'd never make it.

I have my hair transplant surgery scheduled for NEXT MONTH and just recently watched a video of the procedure on another doctor's website. I'll be honest: it freaked me out. If you have had the strip procedure done on you, will you please ease (or not) my mind about the during/after. It looked...
