Here I will publish my results on 25 mg spironolactone.

Spironlactone is prescribed to some transgender women so they have a more feminine appearance. As far as the transgender women I know, they had androgen alopecia hair loss before transitioning, so I think their follicles were already dead.

Here I will publish my results on 25 mg spironolactone.

I just think Spirolactane is dangerous. I understand that he is taking it topically, and not that much will enter his bloodstream. I'm not judging anybody. I even tried using topical Estroidal (Estrogen) on my scalp, but I quit after a month because I was warned against it. I also know...

Here I will publish my results on 25 mg spironolactone.

I just use Finasteride and Minoxidil. That does the job for me. That should be enough for androgen alopecia, that's really all you need. If you're Caucasion, you have a higher follicle density, and you will go balder sooner than a non Caucasion person. (Why is spell check marking Caucasion...

Look, does masturbation/sex worsen hairloss or NOT?

Masturbation does not raise DHT levels. It does not cause baldness.

Your hair density looks good in that photo.

Maybe I should stop using finasteride

Finasteride has a very short half life, so I personally think you should continue it. The half life is four to six hours. Compared to Dustasteride, which has a half life in weeks, and probably will build up in your body, Finasteride is much safer. Just stick with it. If your hair is still...

Back After A Decade! Are Systems The Answer?

Keep the piece. I don't there is anything wrong with a hair system at all. Joe Lynn Turner used one for decades, and I knew he did, because it wasn't the type of hair he would have at his age (80s/90s). But as a rock star back then, I think it was the right move.

    Too much topical Finasteride

That's what I am thinking as well. It used to be this place prescribed .1%, or one milligram of Finasteride. They stopped doing that, and sold this drug that is really new. The problem is the dosage they had for the new drug was small. I think there is either a change of doctor's, or something...

30M. Am I balding or just a mature hairline? (on finasteride + min)

@Zreeper, You have enough density that it's really not noticeable at all. Nobody is going to see the top of your head in real life, except your significant other. Even if they do, just use your tongue. That's what I used to do before my wife had menopause and lost interest in sex.

30M. Am I balding or just a mature hairline? (on finasteride + min)

Some people produce more DHT than others. When I was in my twenties, Minoxidil temporarily regrew all of my hair, and I lost it in a few years. I went back to a Norwood three. It's hard for me to compare myself with others because since I am old, my body is not as good at making androgens...

30M. Am I balding or just a mature hairline? (on finasteride + min)

It's not noticeable at all. It will probably grow back in time. If you didn't post the picture of where your forehead hairline was showing, nobody on this site would even know. It's only on your temples, I don't think it's your entire hairline that has recession. Best of luck to you.

30M. Am I balding or just a mature hairline? (on finasteride + min)

Your hair does look good. The Finasteride is definitely working. It took over thirteen years for my hairline to grow back, and that's because I started too late in life. I didn't treat it with Finasteride until 2013. Eventually your hairline will completely grow back in. In my own opinion...

30M. Am I balding or just a mature hairline? (on finasteride + min)

@Zreeper, As a person suffering from androgen alopecia myself, it pains me to say this, but you are balding. The good news is if you use a combination of Finasteride and Minoxidil you will have your hair your entire adult life. i only have a little bit of a recession, but I am in my mid...

    Too much topical Finasteride

@Elithair, I respect what you're saying. This was a script rewrite, because they stopped prescribing topical Finasteride. They used to only prescribe 0.1% in their previous dosages. It's good to know that it's safe at that dosage. As long as my middle leg still works, I'm a happy guy. That...
