If you've been on it for several months and are still losing, will it never kick in and work for you? When does it become clear that it may simple not work for someone?
What percent of men struggle with the side effects of finasteride? For those of you who started, is it wise to consult a dermatologist to figure out a pathway to treatment?
I was losing some hair above my temples 3 months ago I believe due to some stress (I've had a chronic stress/anxiety for the past few years). But I've also been noticing hairs coming out in my comb, and feeling slightly thinner all the way across above my forehead.

I've read in a few places that old(er) men are less likely to experience side effects on finasteride?? Like, if your hair loss is coming at a more gradual pace at a more common age (over 30), you'll be more likely to have no sides? Whereas, very young guys in their early 20s experiencing rapid hair...
I'm also very skeptical after reading all the finasteride horror stories. Does anyone have any statistics they could point me to regarding what percent of users experience side effects? and what percent of users experience the prolonged/permanent PFS?? I want to know what my odds are, or are there...
