    What is this Procedure Called?

Yup, I agree. Some companies use pseudo-medical terminology like "Non-Surgical Hair Graft" to make it sound like it's some sort of medical procedure. And some clients do the same thing to avoid using the word "hairpiece" or even worse, "toupee".

    Considering a system...

A good hair system is 100% realistic and undetectable. A good supplier knows how to make the hair density "age appropriate". If you intend to wear it for a few days or even a week or so at a time, you'll want to put adhesive (tape or liquid) around the entire perimeter, rather than just using a...

Having a wig made out of my own hair- is it plausible?

It's not really practical for several reasons. A good factory can match any hair color, no matter how unusual it is. Also, even if you cut off all your hair, after the factory removes the shorter hairs that are unusable, they will still need to add more hair to the unit. Also, the supplied hair...

    Temple hairpiece

farrell's pieces ARE amazing. What is amazing is that their quality is mediocre (I've seen several of their pieces) and their prices are obscenely high. You need to use either tape or liquid adhesive to attach. Consider sending a pic or 2 of yourself with your order to help the seller...

    FULL Hair Pieces?

99% of veteran wearers (including me) will tell you that a hairpiece is the way to go unless for some reason, like patchy hair loss, you can't expose your remaining natural hair. My own hair is now so thin and so severely receded that a hairpiece that matches the density of my remaining hair...

    Injected hair on systems

Personally, i don't like injected hair. it sheds very quickly - you may only get 4 - 6 weeks use from one. Also, the hair is tough to style. You can't make your own because they use a special tool to inject the hairs one-by-one. In addition, they can be hot because your scalp can't breathe.

    Hair Science International

I just love companies that use every possible method to convince people that they are selling something new and unique. The names always sound like they have a medical connection or that they use brand new materials or have a new way of attaching the hair to the base. Some avoid even...

I need your advice on how to approach a FRIEND w/ HAIRPIECE

I don't think you should say anything. It's really none of your business. He may love the way he looks and maybe your future mother-in-law does too. If HE decides to find something better, that's up to HIM and nobody else. I understand wanting to help him to look better, but if you want a...

Re: Hollywoodlace.com need help ordering There are PLENTY of hairpiece wearers out there, and because the technology has improved so much, there are more and more every day. This includes a lot of younger guys (in their 20's) and middle-aged guys (40's - 60's) who know that we live in a...

    FULL Hair Pieces?

Most companies that make hairpieces also make custom "full caps" (wigs) for men. The process isn't any different than making a wig for a woman.

Toupee experts plz help --> IS THIS A WIG/TOUPEE??

Will Farrell is definitely wearing a wig - no question about it. As a matter of fact, I think there's a good possibility that they are both wearing hair.

    My base recommendation

There's no such thing as a perfect base for all wearers. Each material and/or design offers benefits and liabilities... The thickness of ThinSkin can vary a lot. The higher the density, the thicker the base needs to be, although the difference may not be visible. In addition, knotted...

    Hair breakage?

The blond hair IS the reason. Hair that has been bleached and then dyed blond is more highly processed than all other hair colors. Most factories choose to use stouter Chinese hair for their blond hair because the dyeing process turns the finer Indian hair to straw. And even with Chinese...

You guys really believe that expensive pieces are too thick?

Boy, I wish that were true, but all you have to do is plant yourself in the food court at your local mega-mall and watch people walking by. You will still see plenty of really bad and/or obvious pieces. There are still plenty of guys who order their pieces from their barbers, who sell them...

    Eggs and Baldness?

Shall we discuss the fact that eggs are higher in cholesterol than just about any other food on the planet? Eating one egg provides approx. 85% of the total daily amount of cholesterol recommended for good heart health.
