I started using finasteride 1 percent 2 months ago. I now have a lot of swelling in my toes ankles and feet. Has anyone else had these side effects? I read that side effects can cause swelling in the extremities but I have never seen on this board or anywhere else of this happening to them.

Are you sure its dandruff? I was having the same problem until I read on the internet that using to much minoxidil will cause it. Its not really dandruff but dried minoxidil flaking. I lowered the amount I was using and problem was solved.

Count, I have used minoxidil for many years with no sides but just recently I tryed it with dermaroller and had severe sides with eyes and facial breakouts. I give up the dermaroller and no longer have the sides but minoxidil no longer stops the hair loss like it had done for so many years.
