I've heard a lot of people saying they successfully used minoxidil for 5+ years. any out there? did you have to go through this process (starting w. temples then monitoring and adding crown?) when minoxidil stops working, does it stop working in all areas or it is it a local tolerance which has built up?

meh, i've definitely seen other people on here who have gone to a derm and clearly been misdiagnosed. it was apparent enough to me when i talked to him he was pretty clueless about propecia side effects, other treatments etc, and its always seemed like people on here are way more knowledgeable...
