Well, this many years waiting for dutas to be the silver bullet against male pattern baldness and it finally didn´t make it for the masses. What are the big pharmaceuticals working on now?, what is the next propecia?, are we to expect something in the next decade before all of us receders go completely bald?

Glad (well. not really glad, you understand) to see others with the same experience. I also started to suffer depression and social anxiety the month after starting proscar, now after 1,5 years of daily proscar and unexplainable mental symptoms I´m going to take a break to see if I see changes...

I can´t get my proscar to dissolve in alcohol. I crushed several pills into a fine powder. Put it in a bottle with 96º alcohol and shake it, shake it, shake it, but the powder is still there, looking at me, laughing, screaming at me!. Finasteride is supposed to be alcohol soluble, I read it...

OK, but, will it produce any?. Where are those studies that say caffeine is toxic for hair?.

I think tupperware might be right. One sigle study proves nothing. And it is very suspicious to see a caffeine containing shampoo just released to the market at the same time some researchers say it is good for hair. But I would like to see those studies saying caffeine is bad for hair too.

She probably knows by now that you are balding, but most women are (thank god) not as superficial to make an issue out of it. Just tell her without giving it importance, because if it is a serious relationship, it is nothing of an issue. And for god´s sake!, If a woman ever leaves you...

My father started finasteride more than five years ago and he still has more hair than before. :)
