hey, ive used minoxidil with 5% AA for around a year and in my opinion its no better than ordinary minoxidil. The studies that had proved it is a dht blocker were done on rats but i dont think its ever been proven to work on people. im not quite sure on the details of the study tho.

Im also from Aus. you can but it from this site in the "get your treatments" section...shipping is a fair bit though....i havnt ordered it yet but will be doing so either this week or next week so i'll letya know how it goes. id also like to know if there is anywhere else i can but it in Aus tho??

i believe you crush it up to a fine powder and then add it the minoxidil or alcohol or whatever and let it dissolve...i could be wrong tho.

So does anybody know/think dissolving finasteride in minoxidil is a reasonable idea?

Thanks for the response guys, i now have some hope again. Ive had a significant amount of vellus hair growth from the minoxidil but it seems it stoped growing at around the 2.5 - 3 cm point so im really hoping that the finasteride can eventually allow the minoxidil to lengthen and maybe even darken the existing...

Hi, Ive been using xandox 5% on my hairline twice a day and taking saw palmetto 1600mg once a day for 4 months now. I see lots of new vellus hairs and want to know whether i should wait a few more months to see if the vellus hairs get longer and thicker or just start finasteride now? any suggestions???
