The worst sides I had was looking dead all the time. My face was just destroyed, saggy eyes, dark circles and deep grooves. After 3.5 months of quitting it has cleared up a lot but still not to baseline.

No experience with finasteride, but I've been traveling with a couple of cans of rogaine halfway across the world and haven't had any issues yet. Just put it in your check in luggage.

Safety is all relative. Yeah it's easy to apply and there aren't that many side effects. My problem with it was the horrible saggy face and puffy eyes it gave me, I basically looked like I hadn't slept 24/7. Other than that, not really any sides.
