I had been using propecia but I was having some side effects and I thought it was best I stopped after 6 months of use. I was considering giving rogaine/minidoxil a try now. Am I likely to see an improvement without propecia?

The reason I ask is because I have never tried to grow one before until now. And I have next to nothing growing on my cheeks, and everywhere else is patchy after 3 weeks :thumbdown2:

I am considering stopping taking propecia - viewtopic.php?f=46&t=64592 I have been splitting the tablet in half for the past few weeks, I was wondering would it still help my hair if I split each tablet into 4 or do I need a higher dosage than 0.25 per day?

All of that and slight pain now and then in testicles.

Would Minidoxil and nizeral not work then? Do I need propecia as I'm not sure I can carry on, I like my noticeable thicker hair but i've had 3 different side effects all in the same place within a few months! :(

I have only been taking propecia for 6 weeks. I hadn't been suffering from any side effects until this week. It's been near impossible to get an erection and when I did it was nowhere near the way it was before taking propecia. I was hoping I wouldn't have this side effect :( :(

Do I have to take it every day or could I get away with 6 out of 7 days a week? I'd rather not rely on it 100% thats all. Would missing 1 day affect my hair? Also, is it normal to have noticeable thicker hair after washing my hair after just 3 weeks taking propecia? OR is it in my head? :)
