Nothing new here, but the momentum seems to still be there ...

I think the optimistic availability for Washenik's progress is mid 2008:

I used to use Xandrox 5 twice a day and switched to Xandrox 15 once a day to maintain results but improve my lifestyle. Apparently the Xandrox 15 dries and is absorbed in 1 hour, so I just apply in the morning and wait an hour or two and then take a shower, before heading out for the day. I...
Just popping in from the guy's section. I tend to hold out hope that by the time I have any kids (say 5 years from now) and they start to lose hair (at ~25 - 30), that in ~30+ years from now the landscape for dealing with hair loss will be vastly different from now and many (workable) options...

The next set of phase I trials are in Feb 2005.
From the site:
"Phase II multi-centre clinical trials on patients with male pattern baldness are planned for Q4 2005/Q1 2006 and will be performed in both the UK and US."
I started out with propecia, then switched to proscar for 90 days (split into quarters). Then just switched back to propecia. I wonder if that had anything to do with it. Anyway, I'm switching to 0.5mg today. Will report back in 2-3 weeks.
Yikes! I'm 14 months into finasteride and I had a 'malfunction' last night in the bedroom. First time ever. It was really embarassing, but my girl was really understanding. I have a lot of other stuff on my mind right now so we chalked it up to that. She doesn't know I'm on propecia...
Up until...
Yup, in BC now. I keep a two month supply now in advance. Basically it can take anywhere up to 3 weeks for your package to arrive. If it gets returned around that time, you want to leave enough time for it to ship again.
One time I ordered 6 bottles at once and it got refused. So I had...
Interestingly enough when I went to my family Doctor. a few months back for a propecia renewal, she recommended proscar to save $. So I went for it. Then with all the articles and postings I've read over the past few months, I decided to play it safe and go back to propecia.
When I got it...
I'm on Xandrox 5 (twice daily) + Propecia + Nizoral (twice/week) for the past year. Was thinking of switching to Xandrox 15, but only once a day.
I e-mailed Dr. Lee and he said that going from Xandrox 5 twice a day to Xandrox 15 once a day (and nothing else) shouldn't result in a loss of...
If you're in BC, don't order more than 3 bottles at a time. They tend to let smaller packages in easier. Customs through Ontario aren't are picky. They ship it as a 'cosmetic sample' so there are no duties.
I don't know why Canadians don't just see their doctor and get a prescription for propecia or proscar. The doctor visit is free and the pills from a pharmacy are cheaper than what you'd get online. The prices I see at online stores are outrageous in some cases.
I have a pill cutter and split mine into quarters. It's just too hard to get fifths. I was on propecia before, and I may just bite the bullet and go back on it afterwards.
The jury seems to be out as to whether splitting is a good idea or not.
