Your opinion of transplants?

I always thought transplants were for weak, insecure men who couldn't get laid, and for some it's probably true. But I think a lot of the negative stigma associated with transplants is exagerrated and most of the time wrong. These days I don't think there is anything wrong with transplants. What can be so wrong about having hair? A hairline correctly frames the face and makes us look younger and accentuates more desirable features on our faces, such as eyes and lips, instead of our receding hairlines.

It also makes us more attractive to the opposite sex (so long you're not an ugly fark) and makes us appear more dynamic and healthy. Lets face, not every man can pull of a Vin Diesel esque shaved head, and some just have mong large heads that look terrible shaved. I think these people are the ideal candidates for hair transplantation. A hair transplant could have dramatic affect on personal and social life, increasing one's confidence and happiness in overall life.

There is no doubt a significant amount of hair transplant recipients whom have given considerable thought to their hair loss situation and thus acted on it in a rational state of mind have had fantastic results. I say kudos to these people. And if anyone thinks you're somehow weird or less man cos you want to look better, just tell them to fu.ck off.

re:

Getting a hair transplant is minor compared to all the other plastic surgery being conducted. That being said, I think accepting who you are is a far more desirable approach. My real problem with hair transplant is the scarring because I would not want to lose the option of shaving my head. Eventually your male pattern baldness will continue to progress which means more hair transplants, more scarring and lots more $$, that is not something I would want to deal with. Maybe if I felt like my hairloss was stabalized or I had a real slow recession and not diffuse thinning then a transplant would work. Otherwise, I would prefer to just shave it all off or buz it down.
