Younger Hairline vs Maturity Hairline

I've read multiple times the statement that if someone were to get a hair transplant in their youth, and they get a youthful hairline, people think they will look ridiculous in their 40s and 50s.

I disagree.

Looking at my friends' hairlines and hair has become something I do a lot due to my own loss and I've made some observations. I'm 23 but I have older friends. One of my best friends is 44. He is a flat out hammer, girls run to the guy and offer up sex 24-7. Great looking guy. His hairline is downright boyish. Very low and very thick. He's an older guy but I would seriously say that a reason he still looks young and gets so many ladies is because his hair is really great looking. Very youthful.

I see men all day long who are clearly older than 40 and have hairlines you would consider a high schooler to have. Hence, why can't guys get a hair transplant with a low hairline and look youthful longer?

well you can, but there's a few reasons why they say to get it like a "mature hairline" 1. If you get transplants it is easier and cheaper to take that type of hairline 2. If you have no hair at all and u get a transplant you would be very satisfied with a mature hariline look.....but i mean you very well can but thats my take on it. Look at all the other 40 plus year old hairlines......i mean a guy keeping all of his hair for his whole life is like 1/20....usually just doenst happen......ur like looking at the guy who has 20 inches arms...i mean alot of guys do...but percentagly not so much

If you get a hair transplant to restore a 'youthful hairline' when you are young, your hair may continue to recede and thin. You may end up with a strip of hair (where you had the hair transplant) alone on a bald or thinning head, this would look bad.

Couldn't you keep getting transplants? I know that would be expensive but for those of us where money isn't a problem, isn't that an option? Especially if you get a transplant now, and maybe need another one 10 years down the road, with the possibility of them nailing down hair multiplication techniques. You could have given yourself a youthful head of hair in your actual youth and then be able to maintain and keep it as science progresses. Just a thought.

You could keep getting transplants. The problem is that you may run out of donor hair. This is the problem with hair transplants itself, There is a limited about donor hair.

No. They literally take out the cell that grows it. What I'm proposing though is that eventually they'll figure out the hair multiplication.

If HM was guaranteed option than you would be right, but if you do that you are taking a gamble. what if it isn't available anytime soon. or what if when it is available it isn't successful, or the results aren't desirable, or it's out of your budget. Then you are left looking ridiculous depending on how much hair you continue to lose. It's a big risk, as there seems to be a large discrepancy as to when this will be a practical solution to male pattern baldness.

No it doesn't! You will see guys with a scar on the back of there head from a transplant procedure. The idea is that if you grow your hair long, you won't be able to see it.
