That's fuckin retarded..

Why does the Patent Office even allow such stupid stupid 'inventions' ?

I mean, that's just silly.

How does one 'invent' the positioning of hairs on the head ?

Does this mean that if you comb your hair in the method described in the patent, that you can be sued ?

I already found a loophole, so all those who wanna use a combover are pretty much safe:

1. A method for styling hair to cover bald areas using only the individual's own hair, comprising separating the hair on the head into several substantially equal sections, taking the hair on one section and placing it over the bald area, then taking the hair on another section and placing it over the first section, and finally taking the hair on the remaining sections and placing it over the other sections whereby the bald area will be completely covered.

You could fight it on the grounds that your "styling technique" does not completely cover the bald areas, and is not in fact the patented technique.

Patents are good for 17 years, so this one ran out ten years ago. Go ahead and use a combover.

But you'll still look silly.
