I have been slowly balding the past 4 years but it has accelerated recently. I have receding hairline, balding in the rear, and it seems to be slowly balding between the two. I got rogaine foam for my birthday today and I have only applied it once. Any recommendations or advice?

If you start shedding even more rapidly while on Rogaine, it is considered normal and typical advice is to wait it out. You are likely not to see results until about 6 months of use.
