Xandrox/ Nizoral question

I've been using 1%nizoral/sal shampoo combo for about 1 week at night and a regular thickening shampoo in the morning, but notice since starting the nizoral/sal my hair is flat even after shampooing with a thickening shampoo. Also I begin Xandrox 5% in a week, do I still need nizoral/sal shampoo?...I mean if the alezaic acid in the X is already smacking the DHT, why use the (less potent) nizoral/sal combo (especially since it makes my hair flat anyway)?

yes keep using it, nizoral/t-sal combo conditions the scalp. T-sal removes dead skin cells and improves absorbtion while nizoral conditions and prevents irritation from the daily use of xandrox/minoxidil. using nizoral/sal everyday is excessive just 3x a week is fine. leave it in for at least 5 mins. also nizoral has been shown to increase the diamitor of the hair follicle over time with consistant use.

it's a balance act, too much of minoxidil and no nizoral/sal tends to dry out and irritate your scalp which includes less absorbtion. keep your scalp healthy and you get better absorbtion without having to stop meds because of severe scalp irritation which can also make you lose hair.
