Just saw the John Cena thread and as I'm currently binge watching WWF from 1998 to 2002 I thought it would be interesting to compare the state of wrestlers' hair back then compared to today.

Vince Mcmahon: Solid. Could tell back then that he would never go bald

Mark Henry: RIP

Scott Hall: Had God-like hair back in the day. Considering he's treated his body like sh*t for years, his hair is still very good

Xpac: Hard to tell how his hair was as it his temples were always covered. Still looks pretty dense now

Triple H: Ehhh, he says he shaved it due to his corporate role. I also think diffuse thinning played a part

Stone Cold: Still bald

Mike Foley: NW1/1.5 for life

Ken Shamrock: The most interesting one as it always looked like he was aggressively diffuse thinning. Over 20 years later and his hair looks the same - if not better

Dlo Brown: Lost his hairline so shaved it

Billy Gunn: 30 years of bleaching his hair hasn't done much harm. Still pretty solid

Steve Blackman: Alpha genes

Shane McMahon: Some recession and thinning but still very good. His head got really big though

The Rock: Clear recession and a naturally high hairline made shaving a no-brainer

Shawn Michaels: Had amazing hair back in the day with some recession, decided to cut it after a crown bald spot appeared

When I see guys like triple H who are on tons and tons of gear throughout their career not go bald it makes me wonder. If some of these guys stayed natural they would have died with full heads of hair into old age probably. Back in 2005 I used to think Batista (when he was at his biggest) had amazing hair but looking back he was diffusing really hard with a nw0 hairline. Then 5 years later he shaved it off. He was prob meant to take a full head of hair to the grave too.

Yeah it's mad. Most of the dudes back in the 90s were on gear yet their hair isn't that bad.

Shamrock looks like has the best hair and most likely was(and is) on meds. A lot of guys who do steroids nowadays use finasteride or dutasteride.

Shamrock just rocks the wet hair look. It's not really diffusing. He's got product on his hair and he cuts it sorta short. That's it.
