Ive been on dutas now for 5 days and it has almost completely stopped my hair loss. I have been on finpecia for around a year and would always get around 30-40 hairs come out when showering or having a bath (i would count). I washed my hair tonight having not done so for 3 days and I could see around 5 hairs come out. I was being a bit overly aggressive just to be sure. None of these hairs were long terminal hairs either, they were all short and very thin. I really hope this is the drug for me. My situation is diffuse thinning all the way through my scalp, but mainly at the hairline and crown. Im still able to cover it up with dermmatch but ive gotta stop this or its wig time.
I am going to keep taking finpecia for a while just so I can work my way slowly off it. It so cheap I may even continue taking both permanently. I know there are no proven results to show this has any benefit but I want the best results possible. Ill keep people updated with my progress.
