Wounding And Lllt Questions On Timing

I have a dermapen that i've been using @ 1 mm (trying to make it weekly) all over my scalp. And recently I bought the Irestore LLLT (figured with 6 month money back I'm willing to try it).

I want to use both treatments as effectively as possible. Maybe there's synergy between them? In reality im worried if I use the LLLT too soon or too far after wounding, I could be doing damage or maybe missing out on a better strategy.

Any ideas on when the best time (immediately, 1 hour, 12 hours, 1 full day like minoxidil, etc) to use LLLT after wounding the scalp?

Without any scientific backup,my senses tell me that the two are unlikely to interfere with each other.
I went through a course of laser therapy over 6 months (1/week); there were no visible gains, although the clinic insisted they saw improvement on scalp health. There were absolutely NO feelings with the laser beams projecting onto the scalp. My understanding is that it is supposed to stimulate more growth during the growth phase, but can't help feeling like I wasted valuable time/money.
As for dermarolling/dermapen, I think the appropriate frequency depends on the length of needles and how you recover from the wounding (or simply stamping lightly to promote blood flow). Are you really using 1cm and not 1mm?? I like dermapen/dermarolling, as it appears to have minmised the oilyness of the scalp as well as taking away any itching (except during the recovery from wounding..which I know is not DHT doing horrible stuff).
To me, the two work with a similar angle, except one causes physical wounding and probably more likely to improve scalp health/trigger blood flow/improve absorption of topical products, but requires more caution to not overdo it.
Opinions, anyone?
