Wounding and follicle regeneration

I have Avery to thank for this one. I had almost completely forgotten about this until it was brought up in the dermaroller thread.

This article talks about the possibilty of a new hair loss treatment- wounding. They believe it triggers a stem cell-like response in your scalp causing it to regenerate your hair follicles.

I see the treatment is expected within 3 years. Perhaps I shall throw money in a jar to save up for it till then!
