Wound Healing After Fue Transplant?

hi guys I was wondering is there a way to reduce the scarring from the fue once it is done?

My surgeon advised me to use Neosporin or aloe vera gel on the donor site but my pharmacist said don't use anything until the wound is fully healed.

Also is it bad that the surgeon didn't extract the grafts basically all he did was make the sites for the new grafts and apply the numbing agent
