I'm 25, and look like Jason Statham - thick shave, hairy neck/chest and exactly same level & pattern of hair loss (NW6 with diffused thinning on top).

In your opinion (especially guys who look like him - hair wise), do you think getting on propecia would be more beneficial for me than an average person. I'm asking this because it seems that I (like Jason) am too sensitive to DHT or have a whole lot of it.

None of my brothers have thick shave or hair loss at all.

i think you should look at girls on the computer instead of men, and just take the medication anyways and hope for the best! some people respond well, others don't. i don't think your situation is much different.

Is he really a NW6? I think he is like a 3.5. If he grew his hair out he could cover it up like myself. I think if I shaved my head it would look better in the back but slightly worse in the front due to a damaged hairline. If he is a NW6 I am kidding myself if I think I am a NW3.5.

I've seen his various pics, his hairline is just like mine with same level of diffuse thinning on top. Lookup his pics online and you'd get an idea. Last year my derm told me i was NW5 and i've lost even more now so he is definitely NW5 or more.

looking at men gives you an idea of what would look good and what would not. What if you are wondering whether to lose 5 more pounds of fat to get more cut. then you see a picture of such a guy and realize you don't want to be that cut. Or you see just what different muscle sizes look like. It helps you pick a goal for your own look. And seeing good looking bald guys lets you figure out what you could do to mimic them.

Are you guys sure he isn't NW6?

I've also noticed that some of the guys who have very aggressive hair loss i.e. me, Jason Stathm, Andre Aggassi etc all have similar hair loss pattern, extremely thick & dense shave and lots of body hair...any one agree with this? If any board member has similiar situtation, I would really like to know about your progress after being on propecia.

He still has strong temple points, just like my dad does. My dad has a similar amount of hair loss and is diffuse as well, maybe my dad is a bit worse off, but he kept the strong temple points.
