Would I ever be able to have a ponytail with this hairline

I'm a 20 year old male I've always wanted long hair but because of how bad my hairline is I've never been able to as when my hair is long it grows in the wind and leaves gaps where my hair should be, I love a ponytail hairstyle even though I'm a male I think it looks awesome on guys but my hairline stops me, do you guys think I have a chance with this hairline?

Without sounding too snobby, I always giggle in my head at pony tailed men with bad hair lines. But then again I don't think ponytails on men look good at all.

Pony, and samurai hairstyle on works well, and looks good on dudes with strong temple points, and low hairlines. That whole wet slicked back receeding pony tail is doesn't look good at all.


Once you're NW3, either buzz it or keep it high and tight. Something like a military hair cut.
