Worried about my crown area. Is this male pattern baldness or just my hair whorl?

I have never taken a picture of my crown area before. In fact, I wasn't even concerned about male pattern baldness until a month ago. I became worried about my receding hairline. I wasn't concerned about my crown area since I thought my balding was focalized on my temple/widow peak area.

Is my crown thinning?

No your crown is not thinning looks normal to me, How is your hairline ? Take a pic of your hairline and post it then i'd know weather the crown it is thinning or not judging by how bad your hairline is.

i would not go on treatments, but take another pic in 6 months and compare it then

Your hairline isn't too bad, but considering that you are at least Norwood 3 and your age, I would keep an eye on it and take another photo in 6 months time to compare, then you would know for sure.

Most wouldn't even consider you to be balding, and throw out the phrase mature hairline. In terms of receeding hair lines go, your loss is definitely minor. I'm suprised no idiots have posted on here saying stuff like your not balding.

Yeah, he's NW2, he has significant temple recession, which is the NW2 trademark,
This is the Norwood scale

His hairline is clearly NW2 based on this scale, not 3.

I see so many guys abusing that scale here, most often NW2s being told they're NW3s or occasionally NW1s compliment fishing by claiming to be NW2.5 or 3s.

Indeed, most everyone would say he has a mature hairline, nobody would ever call him bald or balding.
