In theory, workout increases testosterone levels and may aggravate hair loss.

There are some products that increase testosterone levels and have negative effects on male pattern baldness, e.g. tribulus terrestris. I once took a yohimbe supplement (some say it doesn't increase testosterone but it's not true) and it worsened my hair loss; when I stopped taking it, my situation improved.

I actually think good health (so that would include exercise) might speed up hair loss. It means your hair loss genes are working as they were intended. Maybe poor health disrupts them.

Working out (weights/cardio) doesn't have negative effect on hair whatsoever. It does't speed hairloss as some people may think. Sometimes you may see some bald heavy lifters in your gym with huge muscles, some would be bald anyway even if they didn't work out, other may be on steroids.

And some work out, take steroids and still have a NW1.

We can definately that workout will not cause male pattern baldness. If anything than it can accelerate it temporarely for those who are balding.
