Working out / sweating with poly, is thicker poly worse?

Thinking of potentially getting a .08 thin skin (for durability and longevity, don't expose my hairline) unit next if lace center is not feasible, but I see some sentiments that .08 is harder to workout in than say a .03 or .05 - I thought they're all non-porous so why is that?

All poly is the same to work out in. Unbearably hot and it stinks later.
My first hair system was a .03 ultra thin skin from Total Cover Plus.
After going for a good run it felt like I was overheating, itchy and it smelt.
And upon removing it the base was wet with sweat.

I don't know how people can wear entire thin skin or poly hair systems for long.
It's like having a piece of cling film or plastic glued on your head.

Hybrid or full lace is miles better for breathability, and lack of smell.
Shame I have issues with tapes causing me itching after a few days.
Otherwise I'd be happy with a hair system.

Thin skin/poly caused me terrible itching all over. Whereas hybrid or full lace only causes itching after 3-4 days where the tapes are. NOT from the sweat build up.
