Hi,
Iam currently receding in the temples. My hairline went from NW1 to NW2 in less than 6 Months. First I didnt think that I had male pattern baldness since my dermatologist who also does hair transplants didnt diagnose me with it, that was in end August. Also I dont have a strong family history of male pattern baldness, my brother is 30-years-old and got NW2, Iam balding in the same way as he is currently, so that let me question first to take action because its unlikely to get much worse.
I do want to take action because the chances of regrow are actually quite low and I would rather maintain earlier than later.
I cant decide whether I should try finasteride first or just jump right on RU. finasteride is really well known, its approved by the fda and it already over 10 years on the market. If I get sides I could just quit.
Ru is really risky, no real studies on human use. Although the effect of Ru is likely better than on finasteride and the sides seem less systematic.
What do you think?
Maybe I want to add that I suffer from acne general also in the scalp since puberty, but It never changed my hairline. Iam currently 22y/o. No pics since my recession is obvious.
Will finasteride help the acne?
My hair seemed to change in structure too, drier and greasier, is thata result of male pattern baldness?
I was diagnosed by bloodtest with high homocysteine-leves any impact on hair?
